Saturday, June 12, 2010

The Men's Intermediate/Advanced XC Skills Clinic will take place at Hoosier's Nest from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 12.  The clinic will begin with an assessment of all the basic skills and then lead into more advanced riding and handling techniques.  With a focus on cross-country riding, the clinic will cover technical climbing sections and shifting tips with key racing strategies.  The clinic will then ramp up and work on high speed corning, manual bunny hops, drops, jumps and more.

After the skills are covered, riders will hit the trails directly from Hoosier's Nest.  Trails may include Walnut, Schooner, Hesitation Point or Limekiln.  Riders will have the opportunity to ride with Shaums March, who will work individually with each rider to give them personalized tips to help their riding.  Shaums will have his helmet cam running through out the clinic and will be able to give on-site video analysis.
